Healthcare Matters Staff Become Dementia Friends

All Healthcare Matters staff have recently received Dementia Friends Training, taking the time to learn a little more about Dementia, and how we can help those living in our communities.

Pictured are two of the groups proudly showing of their Dementia Friends signs and badges. All of the staff found the training fun and enlightening. Managing Director Phil Spiby said “As our staff are in contact with people living with dementia on a daily basis, this training is really important to us!”

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition.
